He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Benzkofer and Denise Benzkofer of Milford, IA.; and his brother Robert. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his siblings, Madeline, Alan, Richard and Diane Williams of Cherokee, IA.; his sons, Mark (Karen) of Rockaway, NJ, Michael (Dawn) of Wilkes-Barre, PA and Steve (Erica) of Effort, PA.; and his grandchildren, Alannah, Alexa, Allison, Amanda, Brendan, Cecilia, Kelly, Kendell, Lisa, Michael Jr., Sean, Talulah and Taylor.
So instead of sending flowers (Phil had enough of those at home) he requested a donation in his name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
