He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert J. Guinther and Fern Guinther (Moyer); and his brothers, Robert, Marlin, Larry and Gary Guinther.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy L. Guinther (Eller) of Mertztown; his children, Bonnie J. Guinther, Bruce A. Guinther, Mark C. Guinther (Angela), Julia A. (Ron Oswald), John I. Guinther (Lindsey) and Rachel A. (Brad Fetherolf); and his siblings, Warren Guinther and Darlene Miller. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, one great-grandchild.
