It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Rhodes Sr. of Mercersburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 20, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Franklin and Kathleen Margaret Reeder Rhodes. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Joanne Rhodes; his children, Roberta McCalmont (Thomas) of Roxbury, PA, Rene Bramm of Colorado Springs, CO, Richard Rhodes Jr. of Shippensburg, PA and Ryan Rhodes (Melody) of Benton, PA.; and his siblings, Robert Rhodes and Joyce A. Pentz.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Richard to the Mercersburg First Church of God or the MMP&W Volunteer Fire Company, Mercersburg.
