She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Blattenberger and Helen Brill; her husband Stephen G. Bender; her son Mark E. Bender; and her siblings, Ronald Blattenberger and Susan Sankey.
She is survived by: her children, Michael G. Bender (Lisa) of Mercersburg, Matthew L. Bender (Angela) of Martinsburg and Melissa S. Bender of Chambersburg. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and, 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church (8 Linden Ave, Mercersburg, PA 17236). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
