She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred L. Hawbaker and Bessie Bowers Hawbaker; her husband Samuel W. Kuhn; her son-in-law Garry Brechbiel; her grandchildren, Richelle Kuhn and Kenneth Smith II; her stepgranddaughter Mindy Gehr; and her siblings, Bernice Hite, Merle Hawbaker, Melvin Hawbaker and Donald Shaffer.

She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Brechbiel and Ronda Gehr (Bob); her grandchildren, Jodi Martin (Dani), Jeannie McQuade (Ellis), Jan Nelling (Bob) and Kenda Berkheimer (Steve); her stepgranddaughters, Melanie Mellot (Robbie) and Michelle Balmer (Paul); and her sister Daris J. Higgins. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, 5 step-great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren.
