He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph James and Ruth Seichrist (Weller); his wife Carolyn Mae Metcalfe (Reed); and his brother Glenn Metcalfe. He is survived by: his children, Lois Annette Woodring (Darrell) of Loganville, GA, Dean (Annette), Metcalfe Jr. of Mercersburg and Kevin S. Metcalfe of Mercersburg; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Heather, Marshall, Abigail Metcalfe and Blake Woodring; his brother Aden Metcalfe (Gloria); and his niece Donna Sue Edwards. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
