It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cheryl Louise Long (Mercersburg, Pennsylvania), who passed away on October 21, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Ferrence and Ruth Ferrence (Miller); and her brother Lester D. Ferrence, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband James H. Long; her children, Holly Long (Benj) of Guatemala, Eric Long (Andrea) of Greencastle, Lester Long (Sarah) of Greencastle and Caleb Long (Elizabeth) of Greencastle; and her siblings, Herb Ferrence (Jane) of Perkiomenville, PA, Tom Ferrence (Bonnie) of Spring Grove and Diane Negley (Dean) of Greencastle. She is also survived by nieces and nephews as well as a host of extended family and friends.
