He was predeceased by: his parents, Vinton S. Cowan and Velma J. Cowan (Barnett); and his sister Delores L. Glaser. He is survived by: his brother Ronald V. Cowan (Linda) of Mercersburg; his nephew Ralph Glaser of Greencastle; and his nieces, Trudy McDonald of Greencastle, Lori Oberholzer of St. Thomas and Michelle Cowan of Mercersburg.
