Jean Schumacher Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 27, 2023, at the age of 88, Jean Schumacher (Media, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert Hampton and Miriam Hampton; her former husband William Killcoyne; her children, Stephen, Pam and Steve (Hope); her grandsons, Lucas and Jack; her daughter Maggie; and her husband Phil Schumacher.
Jean attended a two-year program at Philadelphia's storied Barnes Foundation, where she earned a certificate in horticulture, then applying that learning while working at the American Horticulture Society.
