He was predeceased by: his parents, Marlin Eugene Shelley and Esther Shelley (Naylor); his former wives, Sue Carol Helm (Coleman) and Patricia Jean Shelley (Yoffee); and his sisters, Rosemary McCartney and Patricia Brooks.
He is survived by: his wife Edith Arlene Rudy Sgrignoli (Walker); his children, Kimberly Lynn Shelley of Camp Hill, PA, Lorrie Jo Simmoneau (Jack) of Dillsburg, PA and Marlin Eugene Shelley III of Dillsburg; his grandsons, Dustin Simmoneau (Lily) and Rusty Simmoneau (Bree); his great grandchildren, Brendin Simmoneau and Charlee Ann Simmoneau; and his siblings, Palmer Shelley, Melvin Shelley and Carol Morrow. He is also survived by his five step-children.
