He is survived by: his parents, Merritt Mitchell and Pearl Locke Mitchell; his children, Deborah Gevin (Dale) of Cambridge Springs and Kevin Mitchell (Daisy) of Meadville; his grandchildren, Christina Ewing of Pittsburgh, Darcie Lucas (Tom) of Cambridge Springs, Ian James Mitchell of Meadville, Jason Mitchell (Kelly) of Erie and Michael Mitchell (Sarah) of Chicago, IL; his great grandchildren, Timothy Lucas, Matthew Lucas, Zachary Lucas, Kaitlynn Lucas, Merritt Mitchell and Levi Mitchell; and his daughter-in-law Marta Mitchell.
