Throop (Meadville, Pennsylvania), born in Cuba, New York, who passed away on August 18, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Floyd and Opal May Abbott (Dundon); her husband Floyd "Doc" E. Throop; her son Eugene Throop; her brothers, Lewis Abbott and Lorenzo "Larry" Abbott; her half-siblings, Anna Abbott Shellito Mook, Clyde Abbott, Lewis Edwards and Elton "Dave" Abbott; and her children-in-law, Paul R. Schultz and Gloria Ogren Throop.
She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Schultz and Susan Wendler (Pete); her brothers, Lester Abbott and Walter Abbott (Rose); and her daughter-in-law Deborah Throop. She is also survived by four grandchildren, three great grandchildren.
