He was predeceased by: his parent Morris "Birney"; his wife Ellen G. Wright; his sister Joyce White; and his siblings-in-law, Jim White and Elizabeth Flegal.
He is survived by: his parent Hortense Wright (Gerberaux); his children, Gary Wright (Tari) of Palm Bay, FL, Joshua Wright, Eric Wright (Kim), Terry Hood (Jerry) of Conneaut Lake, Elyse Hood, Lindsey Whiteside (Josh), Ashley Hood and Carol Wright of Columbus, OH.; his daughter-in-law Donna Halleran (Paul); his sister Carol Murphy (Tom); and his niece Joy Malinowski. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
