He was predeceased by: his son Henry E. Zazitski; his grandson Kim E. Shongo II; and his son-in-law Ralph Vaughn. He is survived by: his former wife Jane Allison Barnes; his wife Hazel Whitman; his daughter Desiree Vaughn of Cochranton; his grandson Tony Birtciel Christina Whitmore (Heather Myers); his adoptive son Ryan Kareha; his daughter Peggy Shongo of Bradenton, FL.; his stepson Richard Barnes of Columbus, OH; his children, Jonathan (Sheridan Farnell), Eric (Paige Robnett) and Heather Barnes; his stepdaughter Linda Dodds (Bill) of Sunbury, OH; and his stepgrandchildren, Darren, Katie, Joshua and Dalton Dodds. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
