With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Benjamin Shope (Meadville, Pennsylvania), who passed away on August 19, 2019 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin F. Shope and Rhea Shope (Aurandt); his brothers, Frank Shope and Harry Shope; his daughter Joy Lynn Seitz; and his grandson Garrett Shope.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Quinter March; his children, Pam Schultz (Wally) of Saegertown, Doug Shope (Linda) of Venango and Brad Shope of Meadville; his son-in-law Larry Seitz of Chillicothe, OH; and his pet Squiggy. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; eight step-great grandchildren.
