She was predeceased by: her husband John E. Fetter (Kenneth); her former husband Kenneth Shaw; and her son-in-law John Eichelberger. She is survived by: her children, Donald Fetter (Eleanor), Joyce Wyles (Jay), Kay Gorsuch (Bill) and Jean Eichelberger (Dale); her stepson Ronald Shaw; her siblings, Doris Replogle and Robert Pressel; and her grandchildren, George W. Fetter, Julie Metzler, Joy Wilt, Jill Thompson, Todd Gorsuch, Wendi Calhoun and Scott Eichelberger. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions in Romaine's name can be made to the Woodbury Church of the Brethren.
