She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Hathaway and Hazel Hathaway (Burr); her husband Kenneth R. Bentzel; and her siblings, Betty Schofield, Richard and Charles "Chuck" Hathaway.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pamela J. Oakes (Kenneth) of Martinsburg and Brenda K. Kreider (Randy) of Martinsburg; her grandchildren, Jennifer Dick (Tim), Kevin Oakes and Lisa Burns (Mike); and her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Dick, Mackenzie Dick and Nicholas Oakes.
