She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jacob Ebersole and Savina Ebersole (Steward); her former husband David D. Slagenweit; her husband Elwood Bechtel; and her daughters, Doris Marie Swope, Patricia Ann Smith of Enterprise, Ala and Faye Jean Keller of Martinsburg.
