It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Maxine Himes of Mahoning, Pennsylvania, born in Brandy Camp, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 27, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Preston Charles Minnick and Annie Mae Minnick (Kunselman); her husband James D. Himes; her son Brian James Himes; and her siblings, Harold "Butch" Minnick and Janet Minnick.
She is survived by: her daughter Lorita Mae Snyder (Richard) of Punxsutawney; her grandchildren, Heather Havrilla (Dan) and Scott Guidash (Bryan); and her sisters, Doris Good of Punxsutawney and Norma Hider of Virginia.
Memorial donations may be made in Maxine's memory to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee, 38105 or to a local humane society.
