She was predeceased by: her parents, Katie Klinger (Ramberger) and Stanley Klinger; her husband Mark R. "Sonny" Sims; her daughter Carolyn Fenstermacher; and her siblings, Marian, Stanley, Roy, Glenn and Randy.

She is survived by: her children, Doreen Dockey (Mike Coxen) of Harrisburg, Alan Sims of Lykens and Brian (Deanna Sims) of Klingerstown; her son-in-law Rodney Fenstermacher; her siblings, Carol Troutman, William, Dean, Don, Dennis and Ron Klinger; her grandchildren, Megan, Kyle, Kurt, Kevin, Tyler and Dylan; her great grandchildren, Aiden, Robert, Remington, Madilyn, Lainey, Owen, Ricky, Emma, Isabella and Cole; and her friend Cindy Schaffer.
