He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Chubb and Mabel Chubb (Lenker); his son Brian Chubb; his siblings, Emma Kissinger, Geraldine, Charles and Oscar; and his granddaughter Brianne Kosier.
He is survived by: his daughters, Suzanne Collier (Richard Cowan), Patti Miller (Michael), Sally Tobias (Randy) and Pamela Kosier; and his sister Ella Kissinger. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
