He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence A. Girvin and Eva A. Owen Girvin; his stepmother Edie Girvin; his siblings, Gerald Girvin and Linda Mussmon; and his son-in-law Andrew Brenner.
He is survived by: his wife Donna K. Miller Girvin; his children, Matthew, Jason Girvin, Dr. Carrie A. Poore (Jon) of North East, MD and Ashley N. May of Kimberton, PA; his grandchildren, Sophia, Henry and Jack of Kimberton, PA; his sister Carol Sue (David Townsley) of Ephrata; and his brother-in-law Robert Mussmon (Helen Campbell).
