He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul G. Nicklas and Florence Nicklas (Niewoehner); and his brother Gary Nicklas. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Nicklas (Shell); his children, John L. Nicklas II (Rebecca) of York and Debra Good-Zeiner (Layne) of Lancaster; his stepson Randy C. Good (Julie) of Lancaster; his grandchildren, Andrew, Lauren, Ashley, Megan, Emelie, Ryan, Mason and Logan; and his sister Marian Apel (Jim) of Winston-Salem, NC.. He is also survived by children and his brother Gary's children.
