He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Vera C. Doyle, Genevieve and Charles Wheeler Sr. (Chal); his uncle Robert "Wolf" Doyle; and his close friend Thaddeus "Ted" Dombrosky.
He is survived by: his parents, Charles T. "Pete" Wheeler, Jr. and Linda Wheeler (Doyle) of Lilly, PA.; his wife Carol Wheeler (Redzensky); his daughters, Ashley and Valerie Cerwensky of Portage, PA; his siblings, Jessica Dupirack (Dave) of Cresson, PA and Chris Wheeler of Duncansville, PA.; his aunts and uncles, Antoinette "Toni" Doyle of Lilly, PA, Mary Lou Behe (Jerry) of Lilly, PA, Margie Stercho of Mililani, Kathy Proudfit (Russ) of Beaufort, SC, Mary Lovlie (Arne) of New Castle, PA, Paul Doyle (Mary) of Loretto, PA and Bruce Wheeler (Cheryl Wheeler) of Lilly, PA; his nieces, Megan and Stephanie Wheeler of Portage, PA; and his nephew Chris Wheeler of Portage, PA. He is also survived by many cousins, friends.
