Conaway Jr. of Lewistown, Pennsylvania, born in Grassflat, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 6, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Conaway Sr. and Jessie C. Fisher Conaway (Morgan); his siblings, Ruth E. Harbst (Fisher), John F. Fisher, Samuel E. Conaway and Arthur L. Conway; his nephew Scott Harbst; and his great-nephews, Jimmy Harbst and Clayton Fisher.
He is survived by: his sister Sharon Smith (David) of Grantville; his sisters-in-law, P. Ruth Conaway and Katherine Foser; and his nieces and nephews, Janice Fryer, Georgia Marston, Robin Goodman, John Clayton Fisher, Matthew Conaway, Tim Conaway, Tammy Hackett, Sherri Graven, Kevin Conaway, David Smith Jr., Timothy W. Smith and Deborah Bailey. He is also survived by many loving great-nieces and great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
