She was predeceased by: her parents, Nevin F. Gutshall and Estella Gutshall (Smith); her sisters, Janice Dalbac and Ruth Johnson; and her half-siblings, Mildred Specht, Sara Showalter, Helen Parks, Sara Mae Moir, Mary Jane Miller, Julia Brosius, Myra Exler, Elwood Rarick, Ralph Gutshall, Sherwood Gutshall, Fred Gutshall, Irvin Gutshall and Wayne Gutshall.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Bales and Kenneth E. Messerman (Brenda) of Lewistown; her grandchildren, Kyle Messerman, Kristie Yates (Travis), Kevin Messerman (Morgan), Kimberly Bales (Trey Peters) and Kailie Bell (Mike); her great grandchildren, Korbin, Knox, Kalli-Ann, Kaden, Kip and Konner; and her sisters, Jean Noerr of Lewistown and Elaine Beers (Robert) of Lititz. She is also survived by her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
