It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leota P. Pierce of Lewistown, Pennsylvania, born in Youngstown, Ohio, who passed away on March 21, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William J. Nelle and I. Cleora Nelle (Barnes); and her brother William Nelle. She is survived by: her husband Donald "Dan" Pierce; her children, Randy Pierce (Beth) of Lewistown, Daniel Pierce (Paula) of Lewistown, Denise Bickel (Roy) of McVeytown and Scott Pierce (Cynthia) of Lewistown; her siblings, Juneita McElwain of Upland, CA and Ronald Nelle (Barb) of Phoenix, AZ; her grandchildren, Nicole Frazier, Jennifer Hartzler (Travis), Danielle Haines (Alex), Matthew Bickel, Courtney Bickel (T. J. Leaptrott), Alex Pierce (Mackenzie Kline) and Benjamin Pierce (Denise McMaster); and her great grandchildren, Jaliyah Frazier, Ellie Hartzler, Emma Hartzler, Jaxi Frazier and Harper Haines.
