He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Van Scyoc Sr. and Wanda Van Scyoc (Helwig); and his daughter Kristy Van Scyoc. He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Ballaro (Carmelo III) and Steffanie Van Scyoc of Oregon; his grandchildren, Arien, Carmelo IV, Jamie and Abigail Ballaro; and his siblings, Jean Baumgardner (Donald) of Alabama, Donald Van Scyoc Jr. (Robin) of McClure, Cathy Van Scyoc of Burnham, Terry Van Scyoc of Alabama and Chris Van Scyoc of Alabama.
