He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry McGary and Geraldine McGary (Mactavish); and his siblings, Clara Barney, Robert McGary and Thomas McGary.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley McGary (Biss); his children, Steven McGary (Amanda McGary) of Lewistown, Ivy Harding (David Ashmore) of Easton, Adam McGary (Susan) of Charlotte, NC, Lois Eyer (Robin) of Lewistown, Louise Buendia (Adrin) of Altoona, Sherry Jenkins (Tom) of Strodes Mills, Clara McCall (Daniel) of Apex, NC and Carla Franek (Jim Swanson) of Clearfield; and his siblings, Irvin McGary of Clearfield, Sherry Lewis of Florida and Dick "Mike" McGary of New Jersey. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
