He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Eugene and Helen Bailey (Kratzer); and his daughter Virginia Lee Watt. He is survived by: his wife Bernice A. Bailey (Fagan) of Lewistown; his granddaughter Britney Baumgardner (Willie) of Lewistown; his great grandchild Colton Baumgardner; his son-in-law Darrell Watt; and his sister-in-law Anna L. Shirey (Charles) of McClure. He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
