He was predeceased by: his father George Henson; and his brothers, Thomas L. Henson and David G. Henson. He is survived by: his children, Anita "Sue" S. Giering (Lynn) of Long Beach, CA, John L. Henson, Jr. (Arlene Harry) of Lewisberry and Thomas "Tom" D. Henson (Grace) of Lewisberry; his grandson Benjamin T. Henson (Martha) of Willoughby, OH; his sons, Michael A. Henson (Katie) of Mechanicsburg and Kyle R. Henson (Christina) of New York, NY; and his great grandchildren, Benny, Ellie, Isabelle, Everly, John IV and Sawyer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
