He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Sullivan and Elizabeth Sullivan (Sankner); and his sisters, Constance Schreiber and Sandra McArter. He is survived by: his wife Mona Kay Sullivan (Torrey); his children, Brenda Knapp (Randy) of Tucson, AZ, Susan Frampton (Nick) of Bradford, Joseph Sullivan of Lewis Run, Donald Sullivan of Lewis Run, Kevin Sullivan (Alesia) of Winchester, VA and Bruce Sullivan (Annette) of Sarver; his grandchildren, Adam Knapp, Kristofer Knapp, Joshua Kahle, Danielle Sullivan, Emma Sullivan, Noah Sullivan, Ashley Sullivan, Molly Sullivan, Andrew Sullivan, Brady Sullivan and Brinley Sullivan; and his great grandchildren, Kylee Knapp, Madilynn Knapp, Brayden Knapp, Stella Knapp and Adalyn Maze.
