She was predeceased by: her parents, Josef E. Gunther and Emma Gunther-Hartman; and her husband Fredrick Joseph Marszalek Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Nicole Monique Smith, Fredrick Joseph Marszalek III, Edward Joseph Marszalek and Eric Joseph Marszalek. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, and a host of extended family.

The family is asking for any donations to be made to St. Jude Hospital at Marianne's request in lieu of flowers.
