He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward F. Rafferty and Marie Wangstrom Rafferty. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis J. Hoover Rafferty; his children, Karen J. Leyden (Frederick), Edward K. Rafferty (Danielle), Elaine M. Rafferty and Erik S. Rafferty (Kristin); his grandchildren, Ella, Claire, Edward A., Benjamin and Theo Rafferty; and his siblings, Patrick Rafferty (Sylvia), Kenneth (Connie), Bernard (Veronica) and Helen Reed (Frank). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
