He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Ditta and Serafina Ditta (Pillitteri); his wife Leola A. Ditta (Warren); his daughter Connie Walters; and his siblings, Joseph, Carlo Ditta, Mary Balotti, Irene Ditta, Rose Pillitteri, Florence Abraham and Nancy Karlosky.
He is survived by: his children, James Ditta of Florida, Joyce A. (Donald Hennessey) of McMurray and Amy Ditta of Pleasant Hills; and his grandchildren, Melissa Gullick, Shawn Hennessey, Melinda Dohmen, Christopher, Frank, Melanie Ditta, Corey Wilson, Cheri McMillian and Natalie Carter. He is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19, a family funeral was held on Monday May 18, 2020 followed by interment in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Carroll Twp.
