He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter L. Rohrer and Bertha Wenger Rohrer; and his siblings, Willis, Clarence, Mary, Lester and Luke.

He is survived by: his wife Marian R. Buckwalter Rohrer; and his children, Marilyn S, Richard Barnett, Keith N, Betty I. Gochenaur Rohrer, Coleen B and John Steindel. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
