He was predeceased by: his parents, Levi N. Hoover and Ellen Hoover (Newswenger); his wife Mabel H. Hoover (Martin); his daughter Anna Hoover; and his siblings, Martin, Joseph, Aaron, Katie, Anna Mary and Susanna.
He is survived by: his children, Mary M. (Weaver Martin) of Newville, Ellen M Hoover of New Holland, Alta M. Hoover of Denver and Harvey M. (Rhoda); his siblings, Ivan (Esther Hoover), Ada and Emma Hoover; and his sister-in-law Martha Hoover. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
