He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Haas and Rebecca Haas (Nothstein); and his siblings, Madeline Follweiler, Mildred Garvin, Ruth Rabenold, Miriam Parker and Robert Haas.
He is survived by: his wife Frances E. "Fran" Haas (Pratcher); his children, Susan (Roger Wirth) of Tioga and Kenneth Haas of Lehighton; his granddaughters, Katelin Rose and Chloe Elizabeth Wirth; and his sister Betty Mae Forsythe.
