It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helmut Makosch of Leesport, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 27, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jeanette Makosch (Yarrish); his sons, Christopher (Kim) of Wyomissing, PA and Kenneth (Kelly) of Ithaca, NY; his grandchildren, Eric, Lauren, Isabel and Tessa; his siblings, Dorothea Kozlowski, Rosemarie Yetzer and Joachim Makosch; and his parents, Erich Makosch and Theresia Makosch (Materla). He was also cherished by cat; and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, please make gifts in memory of Helmut's life to the Animal Rescue League of Berks County.
