It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward K. Loughery Sr. of Leesport, Pennsylvania, born in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 11, 2022, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rita G. Loughery (Grasso) and Geoffrey A. Loughery; his wife Pamela J. Loughery (Weidner); his children, Kayleen A. Snyder (Ryan C. Snyder), Felicia M. Loughery and Edward K. Loughery Jr. (Alexa M.); his grandchildren, Rylee, Emelia and Asher; and his siblings, Robert J. Loughery (Beverly S.), Thomas M. Loughery (Michelle K.), Jim Thorpe and Catherine L. DeLaurentis (Michael DeLaurentis). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
To honor Ed and his love of racing, the family requests donations to the Eastern Museum of Motor Racing, PO Box 688, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055. Donations made in Ed's memory will be compiled and once tallied, if over the amount required, a block will be made in his memory and displayed at the museum.
