He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Shay and Christine Shay (Rudy); his wife Marion "Fooz" Shay; and his siblings, Larry, Denny, Greg and Ellie.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Giardino (Michael) of Lebanon, Kelly Shay of Lebanon and Corey Shay (Heather) of McAlisterville, PA; his grandchildren, Amy, Katy, Amanda, Michaela, Charlie, Michael, Ben, Gill, Bella and Carter; his great grandchildren, Parker and Owen; and his cousins, Jeanne, Jackie and Candie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
