He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Shertzer and Ferne Shertzer (Gingrich). He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Shertzer (Mesaris); his brother Doug; his sons, Brian (Rachel) of Annville and Mark (Bertha) of Hawaii; and his grandsons, Doyle of Annville and Cole of Annville.
