He was predeceased by: his father James G. Cowden; and his grandparents, Grover C, Lillian Mae Cowden, Charles and Doris Bair.
He is survived by: his mother Janet Cowden (Bair); his sister Wendi Ruddy (Daniel); his aunt Anita Haulman; and his cousin Robin Carroll (John).
