He was predeceased by: his parents, George J. Rothermel and Carrie S. Rothermel (Matthes); his daughter Lisa Rothermel; and his grandchildren, Kevin Goshert and Karlyn DeAngelo.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Rothermel (Achey); his children, Sharon Abbot Beth Hamdan (late Paul Abbot), Keith Rothermel and Cathy Weaver (Brian); and his brother Michael Rothermel. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren.
