He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter M. Wasnesky Sr. and Mary Wasnesky (Utzman); his brother Joseph F. Wasnesky; and his siblings-in-law, Elaine Shaffer, Jean Schall and Anthony Boggio.
He is survived by: his wife Judith L. Wasnesky (Hoyle) of Latrobe; his children, Lujean Wasnesky (Tom Michel) of Saltsburg, Matthew J. Wasnesky (Marlene) of Latrobe and Beth Graham (Scot) of Latrobe; his grandchildren, Terri Wilson (Robbie) and Jesse Solomon (Katie Powell); his great grandchild Roran James Solomon; his sister Leona Boggio of Jeannette; and his siblings-in-law, Patricia Wasnesky of Derry, William Shaffer Sr. of Latrobe and William Schall Sr. of Latrobe. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
