He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Yates and Florence Yates (Lombardo). He is survived by: his close friend Sherry Wentz; his siblings, Anthony P. Yates (Carole) and Camille R. Weimer (Nelson "Butch"); his nieces, Lisa Yates (Lou Julianelle), Beth Kaufman (Justin), Kara Reid (Thomas) and Renee Weimer Stimel; his nephew Joel Weimer; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Evan, Mia Kaufman, Hadley and Parker Reid; and his pets, Angel and Dixon.
