With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert John Porembka Sr. of Latrobe, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 23, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Porembka and Viola Stepanic Porembka; his siblings, Joe, Rich Porembka and Eleanor Samella; and his brother-in-law Tom Repko.
He is survived by: his wife Charlene Murphy Porembka; his sister Patty Repko; his sons, Brian Porembka (Barbara) and Robert Porembka Jr.; his grandchildren, Kenneth Porembka (Michelle), Nathan Porembka and Kaylee Porembka; his daughter-in-law Lee Ann Porembka; his brother-in-law George Samella; his nephew Michael Porembka (Megan); his great-niece Griffin; his great-nephew Gunner Porembka; and his great grandchild Nelly. He is also survived by many other cousins, nieces, nephews and family.
In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of Bob can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital to help fund cancer research and treatments for children.
