He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Danchenko and Thomas Kacsuta; and his brothers, Thomas and Robert. He is survived by: his children, Heidi Pedicone (Max) and Richard Jody Kacsuta; the mother of his children Pam; his sister Mary Ann Tihey (John); and his grandchildren, Jace and Samara Pedicone.
Richard is the third family member to donate brain tissue to the Harvard University Autism Tissue Program.
