She was predeceased by: her father Joseph Sullenberger; and her husband John A. Kopetsky Sr.. She is survived by: her children, John Kopetsky Jr. of Loyalhanna and Renee Koring (Bob) of Norvelt; her grandsons, Duane Kopetsky, Wade Kopetsky (Sasha), Patrick Koring (Lindsey) and Clayton Koring (Jessica); and her great grandchildren, Gannon, Weston and Rowan Koring.
