He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Irene Datz and Hunter; his wife Mary M. Hunter (Katana); his siblings, Russell A. Datz and Dolores "Dee" Geary; and his stepfather Adrian Datz.
He is survived by: his children, John R. Hunter II (Darlene) of Latrobe and JoAnn Hunter of Latrobe; his sister-in-law Janie Tobin of Louisville, KY; his grandchildren, Michael Hunter (Laura) and Felicia Hunter; and his great grandchild Lilia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Latrobe Derry Area Teener League or Adams Memorial Library.
